Hi guys,

i was wondering what parts I should get to build a pc. I would need this to last at least 8 years with all my gaming (not that much power but I would like it there if necessary). My budget it around $1000. I will take anyone's advice.

PS I hate AMD. I like intel

In today's market, brand loyalty just isn't smart, especially when Ryzen, depending on use is currently often the better option in terms of price to performance. You can see the two builds above, if you go Intel, you will have a 4Core/8Thread CPU with no upgrade path and you lose SSD to stay within your budget.

The AMD build, while $7 over your budget(skip coffee for a week), will give you a 8 Core/16 Thread CPU, with upgrade options and a SSD.

Honestly doing a build that will last 8 years with that budget on Intel is hard. Intel tends to change their CPU socket every new generation, which means that even if you build with the 7700k, in 8 years, it's gonna be like 7 generations old, and you have no upgrade path. As I mentioned above, AMD has upgrade options; AMD has already stated that the new generations of CPU(Zen+) will continue to use AM4 socket, which means you can upgrade your CPU in a few years if you feel limitations without having to upgrade the entire system. Also you'll probably start to notice limitations on a 4C/8T CPU before you do in a 8C/16T CPU.

At the end of the day, it's your money and you can spend it however you want but keep in mind neither Intel nor AMD know or care about who you are, you being loyal to them means nothing. You should spend the money on whichever gives you the most performance for your budget.

For the same price, you can get a better SeaSonic unit.

Not exactly the same price, it's $8 more.(OP would have to skip coffee for 2 weeks!).

Also when reading the customer reviews for the EVGA unit and the SeaSonic unit, you'll see the SeaSonic unit has more negative reviews because of DOA and defective units. I know there were issues with older model EVGA bronze units but the BQ units are new and so far the customer reviews for them are great.

If I learn of issues such as higher than normal DOA or other defects like overheating, then I'll stop recommending it. But right now when reviews are great and it has no issues, don't see any reason not to recommend it. Not recommending a good unit because it's predecessor was bad, would be the same as refusing Ryzen because FX was bad.
