1. Budget and Location

My budget would be about €1000 euro, Located in the Netherlands

2. Aim

Gaming, bf1, wow, witcher 3, preferably 60 fps/1080p high to ultra settings.

3. Moniters

Using 2 moniters atm, both at 1080p. Not planning on getting higher than 1080p 60hz anytime soon.

4. Peripherals

Nope

5. Why are you upgrading?

Currently using a amd r9 270x, i5-4590, 8gb ddr3, 2tb hdd. The division and bf1 skips frames all the time, can't play it anymore (i used to be able to play it though). Hoping to just play my games again in a much better quality

Doesn't even bottleneck this graphics card. Expect 1080p 75-100fps High-Ultra.

Some PSUs are less quality then the others, even if they are the same wattage.

I would upgrade to a 4th Gen i7 if you are playing Battlefield and other multi-threaded games. It should be cheaper than upgrading your platform.

Thanks for the help guys, gotta change the case anyway, one of its fans is broken, as well as a usb port. The case is medium sized, and i think i want a bigger one, so will look for that. Will atleast get a ssd and a new gpu, might upgrade the rest later since it wont bottleneck anyway.

socket/motherboard. a "platform" upgrade usually results in a newer motherboard, which gives access to newer generations of RAM (such as DDR4 instead of the DDR3 you're using) and newer generation of CPU's (such as skylake or Kaby lake instead of Devil's Canyon which you're currently using)
