i want to know how linus can view his viewers purchases to make those parts most bought in a quarter or year vidoes that he does, and how i can add to the list

i hear he keeps saying affilate code, but idk what it means

if you can help me wrap my mind around this let me know down below, hehe

Just click on the affiliate link he's got in the video descriptions, and the next time you buy something, he gets a small kickback I believe..

Please correct me if I'm wrong..

True that, but can't you just copy the affiliate part and put it behind a different product link?

there is a link to a forum post, but its to the general page of amazon, 

if i buy the stuff from my cart exactly after using that link, 

would LMG  get the kick back ?
