2 computers one display? Possible?

I've got a gaming desktop and a 2017 13" Macbook Pro for work. My display hooked up to my desktop is the Asus ROG Swift PG278Q. Problem is, there is only one display port. I want my Mac ook Pro to use my display as well. Is there some kind of switch I can use to switch between my desktop and my Macbook Pro? I tried looking for a KVM but luck is not on my side. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the replies. The downside of doing this is I won't get the advantage of the full 144hz when I use one of these. And it looks like there isn't a KVM that can go 144hz or even 120hz. I guess I just gotta get a DisplayPort Extension Male to Female, connect my desktop that then if I need to connect my MBP to the display, I'll USB-C to DP to the DP extension to the display. #DongleLife

Unfortunately not if the monitor does not have PiP (picture in picture) mode included (which is something many LG ultrawides have).

Switches and such will only help you switch between signals more easily.

you can buy a displayport switch or a hdmi kvm  then just a hdmi to displayport adapter

You can't do HDMI to DP with most adapters though, so if OP wants to do this he should look extra carefully for an adapter that can do HDMI to DP.
