Samsung 840 pro raid 0?

I have Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H motherboard if i raid 0 my two 840 pro´s will i be able to use trim or should i just use them as separate drives?

CPU: i7-4770k @stock  GPU: Gigabyte Windforce GTX 780ti OC  MotherBoard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H  RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro (1600 MHz, 2x8GB)


CPU Cooler: Stock Cooler  Storage: Samsung 840 Pro 2x256gb(OS/Games), 1TB Seagate Barracuda(storage)  PSU: Corsair AX860i


Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D Mouse: Roccat Kone XTD Keyboard: Corsair Vengeance K70

You can but personally i would have them separate since they will have longer life spans.

life time does not decrease at all, actually.

The only thing is, if one drive fails (highly unlikely), all your data is lost, but apart from that there are no disadvantages.
