So I'm building this new pc and I was going to go with the i5 4440 but then i saw linus' new video where he said that you can overclock a i5 3330. So will the 3330 OC beat the 4440, oh and do i still need a z77 motherboard for overclocking the 3330?

EDIT: I forgot to say that I'm using a prodigy m, and that's why i can't go with amd

Wut?If your are talking about the 8350 vs the 4670K, it is really your choice whether you think Intel is better or AMD is better. Also what's your budget? If is higher than 1500$ then I'd say Intel.

I'd say go for the 8320 because it is a better chip for gaming since it is about the same performance as a 4670K.

well in US there is about 24$ price difference. What is your aim? Would you go for amd cpu ?

4440 has 100mhz faster turbo, and the advantage of better ipc and multiple thread performance over ivy bridge and ofcourse lower power consumption.

I would but i want a prodigy m build and i cant find mATX boards for am3+

ok then intel cpu is the right way to go. where do you buy your stuffs?

4670k it's worth the extra cost, or the 3570k whichever you can find cheapest.

but i also have to add the z77/z87 motherboard

If you are willing to buy used, 3330 would be the way to go, might be able to get a 3570 or even an i7.

if new, go haswell and get a b75 mobo.

AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!
