hello, so i bought a gtx 750ti and downloaded the latest drivers but when i play resident evil 7 the frame rat goes form 60 to 30 then from 30 to 20 then back to 60 and it is very unplayable because each time the fps changes the game lags. Please help

this is my pc specs:

fx 4300 quad core @3.8ghz

asrock 960gm-vgs3 fx

8gb ram ddr3

Ha! Welcome to the hell I lived in for a while. Mine was power throttling iirc and eventually just locked itself at 800mhz and never left that. 

 

I had the  MSI OC cardboard 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

What settings do you have RE7 at? The 750 Ti is an entry level card, so you'll need to run it on med/low settings.

I suspect a weak CPU. Use afterburners monitoring function to checl CPU and GPU usage when gaming.

At idle state, it's normal for clock speed to be so low.

Turn off AA, and set the graphical settings to medium, and see how it does. I don't think RE7 at very high will run well on a 7050 Ti.

It's called on screen display, OSD under the monitoring tab of Afterburner's settings menu. You need to have RivaTunerStatisticsServer RTSS installed first.

Try downloading GPU-Z and checking the performance limiter. If you have the MSI OC GTX 750TI then I can almost assure you it's power throttling like mine was. It's a REALLY shitty graphics card
