B350 PC MATE VS TOMMAHAWK

Hi!

Im getting b350 and i prefer to buy PC MATE cuz Its pure black and T-Hawk has red lighting so Its bad for me. I want to get blue LEDS so it wont match. But im Here to ask If its gonna be worse in OC or something like that. Help me out guys.

You'll be fine with anything as long as you don't push it too much

No you shouldn't get any worse OC performance. OC is more reliant on the CPU than the motherboard.

What do you mean? Im not asking about OC on all b350 boards im asking about the difference in these 2 models like maybe t-hawk is better in lets say OC. Thats What i meant.

Both well provide the same results as long as you don't go too crazy

Ok What about the other things? Its Msi too so is it only looking different?

Actually I would get a different brand. Supposedly MSI's AMD boards are not the best.

Skip MSI's Ryzen motherboards. Longest POST times of all the manufacturers. (even the premium boards.)

Ok i just need good looking board ATX to match black and blue. Thats all. I would get strix but Its expensive.

They're not bad motherboards if you want to match a colour theme. the starting time is just a little ridiculous. On my b350 PC MATE my last time to Bios was about 23s, and time to windows would be about 30-35s. Using Crucial MX300 275gb as boot devices, makes me wonder why I even bothered with a better SSD. 

 

If you're on a budget it makes no sense to have get one when the Asrock Pro4 b350 is the same price without the fuckups.

If you say this Asrock boots up faster im gonna get it i guess. What about Asus boards?

I've no idea. I've heard the B350F is the best budget RBG board but I'm not sure that relevant.

The X370 Extreme I think has blue leds, and its a fantastic oc board.

Not that I know. Besides its a better and more solid path for future upgrades and better overclocking for sure.
