Any suggestions or comments on raid 0 with 3 drives (WD gold datacenter 1TB x 3)

Also, I hope you're using those Gold drives in a separate room.

I am using it for my workstation in the office and the system acts as a file server.

Dont worry the workstation is in the "vault" :)

I intend to get 1TB drive which are rated at a speed of 180+ MB/s speeds. The 2TB drives are 200MB/s. Is it worth to get the 2TB ones?

i was actually looking at these a few weeks ago and i was gutted that only the 10TB has 256mb of cache. 

I dont see a huge difference from 1tb to 4tb.

Because they all use 2012's tech of 1TB/platter.
I think 6TB version uses 1,2TB/platter (max. offered without Helium/other expensive stuff). 
That's why, it's rated as faster in speed than 8TB model.
