Mini-ITX Ryzen 7 build

Ratburger08

Hello everyone,

My first post here, so be gentle if I sound a bit dumb or foreign lol.

Anyways my PC I've built is a mix of new parts in a cheap case. Not my choice for case, but I'll upgrade that later, probably.

The spec sheet is as follows:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 1700x (OC to 3.8ghz)

Cooling - Corsair H100i V2

MOBO - Gigabyte AB350N-WiFi

RAM - 16gb of GeIL EVO X DDR4 3000mhz (not compatible, runs and 2133, RIP)

Graphics - GTX 1070 FE

PSU - Silverstone 750w modular

Case - Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX

Storage - 2x 250gb SSD (Intel and Samsung), and 1tb WD disk drive

I also use a FUNC KB-460 and Logitech G502. And I'm hooked on my Logitech G430 headset.

Additionally, I added an RGB can cover because I got it for free and why not? Lol

I thought your nvidia shield was a Hue+ lol. Fine build, shame you couldn't reach 3.9 OC, especially with that H100i.

I will agree, it is pretty sloppy, but for a first build, and on a mini-itx case, its fine.

May I ask why the two SSDs? Couldn't you put that into a better GPU or more RAM or a better CPU?

Oh yeah I agree completely (better than my PC) but if he did buy two SSDs like that that is kinda a waste Imo. I would rather use it on a better monitor or something. (or some AirPods kek)

Try to find a similar pair of wireless independent earphones that are that seamless to use for less money.

Or just buy some electric toothbrush heads and put them in your ears.. they sound, look, and compress noise about the same. And if you lose one because of the design, you don't need to fret about losing $200.

idk

Theres a pretty simple solution to that, just don't lose them.

Generally when something is expensive you take care of it, well unless you are irresponsible or if your parents buy it for you and you don't respect them. Sure accidents happen but they are your accidents.

Im sorry but im sticking with wires until wireless gets the great quality. But seriously it is kind of a waste of money. But i also think that smartwatches are a waste of money. But everyone has their own taste its the same as me buying a ferrari. Its a waste of money when i can turn a shitbox into a as fast a car but only the factor of me putting in the work and the feeling of dying at any moment gives me a rush. ahaha. Well ofcourse the apple ecosystem is seemless. but i still enjoy my s8+, windows desktop and wired everything ahaha

Sadly not a first build, but first ITX. I've been PC building for some years now. Never been good at the cables, sadly.

The 2 SSDs are cumulative from other builds I've done in the past. Plus I like how light they are, since it's a LAN case. And I only game in 1080p, so the GPU is as nice as I need. And better CPU? Not sure that exists. (shameless AMD fanboy)

7700k is better for gaming.

However, in general tasks and rendering, etc it's slower.

idk

I get the whole better for gaming thing, but the 1700x is the best I need for gaming. I've not played a game it couldn't handle at 60+fps in 1080p

Don't get me wrong, check my signature I play for both teams.

I have a 6s Plus so I too am still a member of the Wired master race but I do see the value in going full wireless.

I love my iPhone, Windows Desktop, MacBook Pro, and Apple Watch. My ecosystem for media and Music is with Apple, my games and power come from my PC, and my mobile needs are satisfied with the Mac and iPhone.

Is this the cheapest solution? Hell no, but do I love it? Hell yes.

Well, there is a point here. Until LDAC (super high bitrate wireless) arrives in such a form factor, I'm avoiding wireless.

Everybody's ear differs in shape. While I run or do something, the EarPods never stayed in my ears. If I laid down, they'd fall out. If I'd run faster, they'd fall out. Same thing with the AirPods (my friend, massive Apple fanboy - 7+256gb, watch S2) owns a pair and they fell out in the same conditions.

idk
