Tomorrow is the Day of Vega

They will be announcing it tomorrow if I'm correct, and we'll get to see the release date, pricing, and all those goodies.

 

If they launch the card in July or in nearby August, I'll probably get the top end card.

Lucky. I have to upgrade due to crossfire becoming a trashfire and my cpu being super slow. But yeah I agree.

If RX Vega will be slower than overclocked GTX 1080 than it will be massive failure. Even worse than Fury X in it days.

What CPU have you got? And yeah, I was lucky to get mine just before the mining craze. I got it for $300, and I think they went up another $50 or so, but have gone back down now.

Agree! Even if I never get one, competition is good. If Nvidia keeps a monopoly on high-end cards, they'll be able to laze around and not innovate much. if AMD gives them a shove, they'll have to get better faster to keep on top. Same thing with Ryzen, it's pushing Intel to bump up cores and price things competitively*.

 

 

*For Intel, some of the new X299 CPUs aren't that bad. But the PCIe lane restriction sucks.

Cool! my PC is pretty much only for gaming, I've got a 2012 MacBook Pro for work. I mostly do spreadsheets and fix any It problems. I'm supposed to be an IT admin, but the downside to a mainly Mac ecosystem is that they don't screw up very often, so there's not much to do.

My prediction is it's going to cost the same or a tad more and perform basically the same but in true DX12 titles and Vulkan it will wipe Nvidia
