Xeon Upgrade to I7

Hi, i have a Xeon E3-1270 V3 3,5 Ghz CPU , from what i've seen, it's just like I7 4770 , maybe little better.

I Was just wondering if i should upgrade to something beyond from here, maybe 4790 ? Or a better processor ?

I dont want to go to 6th generation of Intel Core Processors, Because i dont want to use DDR4 Ram. I'm using B85 Motherboard, because Xeon Can't OC.

Or maybe step back On I7 3930K 6-Core ? I'm From Czech Republic, and those SKUs here are like 160$. But there aren't any X79 Motherboards so...

If you're happy with the performance, there isn't much of a reason to upgrade unless you can source the parts for dirt cheap.

there isnt really anything for you to upgrade too exept if you want to get a Z97 motherboard and an I7 4790K. thats about it unless you want to go for either Ryzen or Kabylake

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

There is very small if any performance differences in Passmark scores. Even Between 4790k vs. 6700k.

that xeon is basically a 4770k with the overclocking disabled, vt-d enabled, and the iGPU cut off, has the exact clock speeds as my 4770k normal 3.5 turbo 3.9
