ram issue

hello guys so i wanted to unplug my ram and then put them back in but when turned on the computer it says 8gb (3.95gb usable) please help me.

Did you put them back the way you found it? If you put RAM in the wrong slots for example, the computer may not like that.

inb4 had a 32bit OS the entire time and never realised.

Normally it would go down to 3.5GB.

yes i did put them back the way they were in the exact slots
