GPU required for 8 4K monitors

Dear Valued team members,

i would like purchase or build a new PC so as I can run at least 8 monitors and in the future probably 12 monitors (4K). My initial setup will be 4 monitors and will increase gradually thus request the following :

which is the best processor I can purchase for the money, motherboard which will support several GPU, 

which GPU should I purchase?

also the other information on RAM, power supply etc will be appreciated. 

 

Please advise based on budget : low , medium and high.

I'm going to be honest.  High budget will let you get stuff done on that many 4k monitors, the 1080 ti's will do well but may stuggle as  they cannot hardware link past 2 GPUs and the 570s will just be driving the screens and doing little else.  the display adapters will do NOTHING but drive those monitors

 

HIGH BUDGET

2-4 Quadro P5000s

Any CPU with a lot of PCIE lanes, (All X99 and the higher end of X299)

A lot of RAM (minimum 32gb)

1000W PSU from a reputable brand

 

"MEDIUM" BUDGET

Quad hybrid 1080 ti's to use as glorified display adapters

Get a 5820k with a X99 mobo with lots of PCIE slots

A lot of RAM (minimum 32gb)

1000W PSU from a reputable brand

 

LOW BUDGET

4-8 RX 570s

Get a 5820k with a X99 mobo with lots of PCIE slots

1500W PSU from a reputable brand

 

ULRA LOW BUDGET

8 low profile RX 550s or GT 1030s (one per screen)

Get a mining motherboard with enough slots + an i7 7700/r5 1600 (depeending on mobo platform)

1000W PSU from a reputable brand
