Do I need to use Adobe to render footage in 8K ?

Hmmm. From everything I read, it is locked to 4096x4096 export. You may need Premier Pro to export 8K. Whatcha making?

I tried using Sony Vegas which I have years of experience off but it dosen't seem to render videos in 8K, Max size is 4K in sony vegas,

 

Is there any workaround to get Sony Vegas to render in 8K or do I have to learn a Adobe for this task?

Yeah, I mean what are you going to be doing with 8k videos? It takes up 4 times as much storage as 4k.

From googling, it seems Sony has capped the output res at 4K. You can import whatever you want, but only render a 4K file at the end of it. Stupid, but unfortunately true.

Like Linus does 8K, and someone raised a very good point: are peeps in the future with 8K monitors going to be watching videos about old tech? The information won't be relevant by the time the resolution is.

he could be rendering stuff in blender or something in 8k and then editing it
