Before I switch ram

Hey folks another noob question, I have a stable overclock on my x370 asus crosshair R7 rig with flare x 16GB @3200 kit, now that I've updated my bios to the latest agesa bios I would like to switch it out on my x370 pro carbon for my rip jaw 32GB @3200 kit so I can try to get 3200 in my R5 rig, my 32GB kit is only running at 2933 on it right now can't get it any higher and want to see if by switching I can get both running at their rated speed so is there any prep I need to do or can I just swap ram? don't want to harm anything in the process I'm going to save my overclock on a usb stick should I reset to optimized defaults and start over with the new ram

Yeah I would reset everything first and then put in the new ram.
