Short but wide

That's... a lot more than I want to pay for a case. I'm half tempted to get another In Win 303 but I think the cooler would just be too much for that case.

Still searching around. The Fractal Define C has got my attention. No window, no fuss clean black tower.

S340 ELITE?

I'm looking for something short and wide... a case that is. It'll be taking an ATX mobo and the cooler I have is rated at 163mm without fan, and 168mm with supplied fan. I think I can get away with replacing the fan with a standard one to reclaim part of that height. I have previously used this cooler in a Corsair 230T which is rated at only 165mm and it just fitted.

Doesn't need to be fancy, just want to rehouse a system that got evicted when I dropped a Skylake-X build into an existing watercooling setup. I think in this modern age, acrylic windows look so poor now, I think the case should either be no window at all, or tempered glass. I think a simple (and cheap) design is best. Any suggestions? Basically something comparable to 230T but either cheaper or better looking. It isn't bad, but I don't want another one.

Good call. I like the looks, and price is ok. Cooler compatibility might not be. It's rated at 161mm...

I might risk buy it anyway, as I have a backup plan if it doesn't fit. I could move my system currently in Corsair 230T into this case, and put my other system in the 230T as I already know it fits. We might have a solution. Thanks.

Actually after all this I might have thought of an even lower cost solution of reusing something else I have at home if I swap things around a bit. I'll keep this one in mind though.

The glass version is ok, but not as good looking as the S340 to me.

Not directly suitable for the intended application as it is micro-ATX only, but it sure looks cute I'm tempted by it to rehouse a different system...

Ahh yeah, sorry about that forgot about size... they have larger ones though in the core series, I was planning at one point to use a core x9, those are Huuge!
