How to calculate price x performance?

Walt
Go to solution Solved by zzzzzzzhhh,

Get a few synthetic benchmarks of the two, work out the average for each one, then divide the average of each by the price to work out how much performance you are getting per dollar, at least, that's how I do it.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering how you can calculate price x performance. If someone can help me out that would be great! Any help is appreciated :D

Thanks!

From PC hardware. So for instance how do you compare an Ryzen 5 1600 vs Ryzen 7 1700 with price x performance.

For dividing can you give me an example?

Consider your budget, and then get the best value for your budget, while also looking a bit up and down. (budget doesn't have to go "poof" all at once)
