I have been having this problem for months and months I went on to PC forum asking what can I do to resolve this and he said you really cant do anything just do a reformat. So i did reformat on my computer and it is still happening. I don't know what to do every time I play a video game or even when I am not it just goes to the blue screen and says. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL I mean clearly the images I have posted say that the cause is storahis.sys but I've no idea how to fix this. I mean could it be the standard sata controller driver, maybe i can get the AMD sata controller driver maybe that would help? Any help would be great i would love to play games without crashing every 20 mins... Sorry if this is not in the right forum section

I did update all of my drivers to the best of my knowledge

My system does this when i push the OC too far. I believe its got something to do with power delivery as my i see my cpu hit 145 watts then it quits...

ya i don't OC. My power supply is cx600m corsair

Does it have a grey or a green label on the side of it? The green label units are NOT good.

1. reset your CMOS/BIOS to default

2. Run Windows memory diagnostic (extended) or memtest86.

This issue is usually hardware-based and most often either an unstable OC, or failing RAM module.

If it's the RAM then start an RMA, most manufacturers have lifetime RAM warranties.

Having issues with a Corsair AIO? Possible fix here:

Spoiler

Are you getting weird fan behavior, speed fluctuations, and/or other issues with Link?

Are you running AIDA64, HWinfo, CAM, or HWmonitor? (ASUS suite & other monitoring software often have the same issue.)

Corsair Link has problems with some monitoring software so you may have to change some settings to get them to work smoothly.

-For AIDA64: First make sure you have the newest update installed, then, go to Preferences>Stability and make sure the "Corsair Link sensor support" box is checked and make sure the "Asetek LC sensor support" box is UNchecked.

-For HWinfo: manually disable all monitoring of the AIO sensors/components.

-For others: Disable any monitoring of Corsair AIO sensors.

That should fix the fan issue for some Corsair AIOs (H80i GT/v2, H110i GTX/H115i, H100i GTX and others made by Asetek). The problem is bad coding in Link that fights for AIO control with other programs. You can test if this worked by setting the fan speed in Link to 100%, if it doesn't fluctuate you are set and can change the curve to whatever. If that doesn't work or you're still having other issues then you probably still have a monitoring software interfering with the AIO/Link communications, find what it is and disable it.

I wouldn't worry about the PSU for now, as pyrojoe34 said, start with memtest and then goto manufacturer websites to manually get all the latest drivers for your motherboard, CPU etc.

given the ram checked out fine, I would move to updating (re-installing all) drivers.  This stop code can be generated by a corrupt driver.

Given it is s different driver everytime and your ram is fine then it could either be your motherboard or your hdd.  Can you run a file checking program to rule out your hdd is corrupting files?

then run it on that (just DON'T run defrag), also you can get a program from samsung called magician, it should be able to check to see how healthy your ssd is.

shit, I might have sent you to the wrong software,  That's a performance benchmark, there should be an option to check the health of the drive. The check should tell you how much data has been written and estimate a life expectancy, it should also give you a SMART check.

at any rate that is good result for performance.

I used it on my Vertex. But it wouldn't surprise me at all if it has been changed to be vendor specific.  Maybe there is another program out there that will do it.

I have to admit from this point on my ability to help starts to wane.    I don't know of other programs or what to do if you ssd is good and driver updates don't fix the issue.

There are a plethora of people about to come online in the next few hours as the US wakes up.  Hopefully someone will have a better idea than me.

change plus sign to && signs

ntskrnl && 16c4c0

not

nt + 16

plus means 2 separate working together while && means both under 1
