is this pre-built worth it?

So my buddy has a budget of 1000 dollars max ( like not a dollar more, i would be hooking him up with 7 dollars for shipping lol) and we were originally looking to build. but then this caught my eye

The build we had for 1000 was a 1500x and a 1060. but this looks so much better. Anyone have any thoughts?

Looks pretty good, just be careful, because it is refurbished.

Great deal, good manufacture, only downside is it's refurbished but that's okay. I'd get that.

i know thats the main thing thats worrying me, Where i work we sell a lot of refurbished computers and they get returned quite often, but they tend to be much cheaper desktops so idk. that 90 day warranty is what spooks me.

Great deal, I would get it. 

I bet it's a leftover from the mining craze or something. Look up the case and see how it's airflow is and if you can get a hold of what cooler the CPU had on it as well as the GPU. If the cooler on the CPU is anything but stock and the case airflow is fine, I wouldn't worry. Most of the wear from refurbished parts comes from overheating.

i mean ive RMAd a few parts in my day, went by fine. But i may just go with this because its the best deal ive seen in a long time.

It does look like it's a nice build for the price! GTX 1070 with an i7 for under 1000$? Awesome deal. Just keep in mind that it's refurbished.

And that i7 is a 6700K, so it's an awesome CPU.
