how set up manually at 1440 x 900 @75hz resolution

cant find there (and the only web i found for help people problem)

and when i change to @75hz manually without changes from 60hz

it looks like shit

How are you connecting the monitor to the GPU?

Pretty sure my monitor has a setting to run at 75hz I think but I don't know what resolution but if I can I will do that because free performance

i did with amd driver @75hz but nvidia need more "pro" to configure

fair enough, I thought VGA caped out at about 920p@60 not up to to 1440p@75, as I found out from a google search

Change timing standard on custom resolution menu from automatic to each option available and test.
I would guess that DAC in HDMI = > VGA can't do 1440:900 in 75Hz properly.

Uncheck "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display" (in monitor settings).

Have you tried 70Hz or 72 or 76Hz ?

Options I see at this point :
Live with 1440:900 @ 60Hz,
Buy a newer monitor,
Buy a GPU with native VGA/DVI-I,
Change DP adapter to one that supports 1440:900 @ 75Hz.

I've had VGA doing 1920x1080 at 75Hz.

Nope, it doesn't. Now the picture quality isn't that great at higher resolutions due to the fact that you're using an analog connection, but that doesn't matter too much.
