Problem with sli and x299

So i bought new evga sli hb bridge 2 slot and its not working but when i put my sli bridge i get with my motherboard aours gigabyte 9 all fine. Whats wrong i dont understand?

Way too insufficient information to help you out, considering you're playing with SLI on x299 I'd expect you to be enough tech enthusiasm to know enough how nobody can help you troubleshoot with such little information.

There is an SLI Bug that is effecting ALL X299 motherboards. This might be your issue? I've been in talks with Nvidia's elevated tech support about it and there's no ETA for a fix. It's basically up the motherboard manufacturers to fix it with a BIOS update. I would suggest filing a support ticket with Gigabyte. If enough people write in with complaints it is more likely to get fixed in a timely manor.
