Durable Laser Mouse

So I'm getting a gaming laptop in a few weeks. The mouse I have at home is an EVGA Torq x5. While I love this mouse, I'm not sure how it would hold up being abused in a backpack.

Has anyone come across a laser gaming mouse that made you think "THIS THING'S INDESTRUCTIBLE!"

Gotta be a laser mouse that can work on ANY surface. Budget is around $40 but I would pay up to double that if it was super strong. As for the games I play, I have an eclectic game library.

Anything Logitech.

I've slammed some of my Logitech mice hard enough to dent the desk and they just keep going.  Also easy to find spare parts (feet, scroll wheels, etc) on ebay.

(it's cathartic to bash the fuck out of a mouse when you lose in a game...)

Oh, and only Logitech's Anywhere series mice really work anywhere.  Laser fails on granite surfaces.

Honestly my X5 been through a lot without issues, just get a cheap mouse pouch and done. The only surfaces optical sensors don't like really is glass beside that modern day optical track on just about anything so that is not an issue. Also depending on the use I would rather lug around a mouse mat along with my mouse than go laser :P
