What to do next?

Hello LTT Forum! This is my first post and I am wondering what to upgrade on my setup? I tend to play high-end 4k gaming.

Currently I have....

  -GTX 1080 FE

  -i7 4770k (OC at 4.4Ghz)

  -120mm Radiator CPU Cooler

  -MSI Z87 G41-PCMate

  -32Gbs(DDR3 at 2133Mhz)

  -500Gb SATA3 SSD

  -3Tb 7200rpm hard drive

I am considering upgrading my Motherboard, Ram and CPU. I just don't know if I should wait or what.

My current peripherals are...

  -Razer Mamba Tournament Edition

  -Razer Chroma Mousepad

  -2 21in Curved Samsung Monitors

  -Red Dragon Yama

  -Logitech G933 headset

  -Bass Pulse L,R,C Led Speakers

like you could upgrade your cpu ram motherboard but there's not much point to it unless your currently running int o cpu bottlenecks which you should not be

Nice pictures BTW :D. I think you could upgrade to a i7 6700k or the 7700k if you want but i think the RAM shouldnt be a bottleneck and if you're Motherboard still work why don't keep it ;D

get rid of the horrid Razer pad and buggy badly implemented laser mouse and it'd be brilliant

 

Maybe the PSU? That's a Aerocool unit, quite crap.

I'd say it's solid though, maybe 1080Ti and 7700K for raw gaming power or 1700 for all rounder.

Personally, I'd wait for another generation of new kit.

 

The 4770k and the rest COULD go to 7700K ... but why, is fine for the moment. 

You COULD go to 1080TI, but why ... better to wait for next gen card.

agree. your system is pretty badass as it is and you would not gain that much from an upgrade right now. i'd save up and see what the next generation stuff can offer.
