External Storage Password Protection

Hello!

 

My company unfortunately runs off multiple external hard drives. Every person gets one, they all have the same files, along with some other per drive.

 

I am looking for a effective way to Password Protect the drive to prevent anyone without the password to be able to use the Hard Drive. I would like it to prompt me to enter the password for the drive the minute I plug it into a laptop. Anyone have any ideas?
