Hey guys I'm new to OC but know the fundamentals and done a lot of research but im getting very weird results on different OC configs maybe you can help.

First off if i set my cpu to 4.06 Ghz and ram at 2666 i get a very low cinibench score of 905 and userbench mark below 60% of every one else.

second if i set to 4.1 and ddr to 2806 i get a score on cinebench of 1037 and on userbench mark every thing drops including GPU really bad.

if i got 4.1 ghz and ram to 2906 it wont even post.

and last if i set to 4.09 and ddr to 2133 i get a crazy high userbench mark score but i crash on cinebench every time.

I have no idea why this is.

ryzen 7 1800X, 16GB g.skill trident z 3200Mhz, 1000 watt PSU, 250gb ssd, crosshair VI hero, ROG strix 1070 in SLI.

What are you doing to up the GHz? Multiplier overclock? FSB overclock? Have you set a voltage? And disabled what ever other settings are recommended for that CPU?
