Broken fan GTX1070 Armor

looking for recommendation to replace my Armor cooler from MSI in my gtx1070. 2 fan propellers broken (don't ask why)

 

any NON Water block that i can use out there?

also i don't like that NZXT G10.

 

any way can i use my old gtx 970 Limited Edition (green) cooler?

i wouldn;t use your old 970 cooler. the board designs are different, so there's a good chance the cooler won't be cooling all components that need it.

you could look into some of arctic's offerings. their accelero coolers are very good, even if they are a bit ugly

compare the PCB. If the board length are same, GPU die, VRAM and VRM are on the same place, then you can swap coolers with heatsinks.

 

If they don't look alike, then you will have to try take off the heatsinks from their cooler. Then put the Gaming's fan and shroud onto the Armor card's heatsink. Once you're done, install it to the Armor card.

Best option is to RMA, most blocks or coolers wont work as it has a custom PCB.

Yes, you dont really have any other options for cooling (Unless you want a G10).

there are quite a few aftermarket air coolers out there too tough! you dont need to go for an AIO bracket if you want a different cooler.

There are, but the armour has a custom PCB, will likely not work properly.

Yes, both are custom. Neither will work with most other coolers.
