Intel Pentium g2030 to g4560

I'm currently looking to upgrade my computer's CPU and GPU. I currently have a Intel Pentium g2030 back from 2013 hooked up to a Mahobay motherboard. I'm also currently using the Intel HD graphics that came along with the g2030, which as you can imagine is absolutely terrible to use for games. I'm looking to upgrade to a g4560 or a g4600 but was wondering if the processor slots are the same or different. I'm really bad with determining these things, and oblivious I'd rather be safe than sorry when buying PC hardware. Does anyone know if the CPU's have the same slot requirements or know of any software I could use to determine this? Or should I just upgrade my motherboard as well.

you can run a g4560 its a different socket.

Id look for a used i5 like a i5 3470. Here is one for 65 bucks that would be faster than a g4560 and cheaper http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Core-i5-3470-3-2GHz-Quad-Core-Processor-SR0T8-/112478000292?epid=1070060663&hash=item1a303614a4:g:A9YAAOSwfVpYuWPi

I'll look into it, but are you sure I should buy used? I've heard some bad things about used parts, especially from ebay.

Choose a seller that offers some sort of return policy. There's quite a lot of businesses who make their entire living selling of eBay.
