Good Games

Go to solution Solved by MathiasVO053,

thanks for all the suggestions, i sure got some games to look into :D

Hi :D, i just finished playing Rise of the Tomb Raider and i feel a vacuum. i want a new game, something close to what the Tomb Raider reboot did, the problem is that i dont know of any games which are somewhat like Tomb Raider(IE. stealth, story driven, action adventure ETC), besides the far cry series, which i've played all of them since far cry 3

any suggestions?

thanks

The Metro-series.

They are story driven FPS games that can be played in a varity of ways including stealthy.

The Batman Arkham series might also be worth a try.

This doesn't exactly fit what you asked for but I also really liked the ROTTR and this are games I absolutely loved:

-Bioshock series (Infinte is different, so you don't really need to play the first two ones to play it)

-The Turing Test (more puzzle oriented but imo the antagonist is pretty good)

-The Talos Principle (even more puzzle focused but also nice)

-INSIDE (no direct story, but you'll sort of uncover one by playing the game)

From what hasn't been mentioned:

shadow of Mordor.

Uncharted (if you're into PS streaming. Netflix for PS3/4 games)

the oddworld series. I played Munch's odysee on og Xbox, and got really far. It was a lot of fun; I believe the oddworld games have been put on steam. At least a few have.

Other than this I can only think of action games, not stealth games.

Wolfenstein reboot was mentioned above, and after playing old blood, it is a stealth based game (with an annoying as heck final boss battle) which is contrary to the other ID software wolfenstein games. The original wolfenstein was an 80s or 70s stealth game on the Apple 2. I feel this current reboot holds that stealth focus more than the action focus. At least old blood retains that. I didn't but get very far in the new order.

If you're into story driven stealth action adventure games get a PS4 + Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection + Uncharted 4 + The Last of Us Remastered. The Uncharted games are extremely similar to the last two Tomb Raider reboots in gameplay with Indiana Jones kind of stories while The Last of Us is similar but heavier on the stealth. And if you like the Far Cry series, Horizon Zero Dawn is similar (though it's third person). The nice thing is the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection (60 fps remasters of Uncharted 1-3) is $20 everywhere, Uncharted 4 can often be found for $20 to $30, and The Last of Us Remastered is available everywhere for $20. Horizon Zero Dawn is still a $60 game though (but can sometimes be found for $40). Sucks to have to buy the console to play these, but they're the six games I can think of most like what you seem to be asking for.

How do you think Far Cry Primal stacks up to Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4? I loved 3 and 4 but haven't played Primal yet because I didn't think it looked nearly as good in the previews I saw.
