Hi guys!

So I have a question. What is the difference between WD Blue vs WD Green drive?

So I have a Samsung 840 Pro SSD with 128 gb and a WD Caviar Black 1TB.

But I'm finding that I am actually runing out of space pretty quick...

So which drives are better? What are the benefits of them?

And also what would be a speed difference between these two and lets say an external WD Elements Portable 1TB?

                                                                                   Thanks! :D

WD in nutchell:

WD Black = Speed/high end use, extended warranty.
WD Blue = General use.
WD Green = Energy saving for backups or other less frequent use.
WD Red = Some energy saving, continual use, extended warranty, ideal for RAID.
