System total overheat possible

My cpu is overheating like crazy. Now first off I replaced the thermal paste and reinstalled cooler and I got 188 Fahrenheit max. So I removed it and saw its a little too much thermal paste so this time I out a dot of thermal paste and reinstalled the cooler. Now I get 210 Fahrenheit max. Now the cooler is a cooler master one. But idk model. It looks like a hyper 212 evo but with only 6 heat pipes and fans that are not see through. Now on the 2nd installation in trying to get the last plastic bits in I dropped my screwdriver on the mobo twice. But it seems to still work fine. Now I also have turned off turbo on my cpu. And added 3 fans 2 intake 1 exhaust. At this very moment typing I have a temp of 145 Fahrenheit.
My specs:
Intel i5 4690k
Cooler master idk cooler
Cooler master n200 case
Thermaltake 650 watt psu
Asus z97m plus mobo
Asus gtx 950 Strix 2gb version
Windows 10
2 sticks of 8gb Kingston hyper x ram
crucial 256gb ssd
Western Digital Caviar Black 1tb Hdd

My friend TheTab has recommended I purchase a cryorig c7 cooler. Which I have purchased And should be on it's way tommorow. Also I have found another problem. It seems that my psu cables get so warm that the white paint on it that I guess is for manufacturing labels etc melt off. And I worry it may drip onto my mobo. So far only my you shroud has a slight spot of white paint.

c please, nobody uses f when talking about computer temps.

--

leave side panel open to see if shit airflow

dont overclock your cpu

undervolt it by a bit to lower temps

get better cables, becuase the gauge is too large and its conducting too much electricity.

If you are overclocked turn it off. Psu might be supplying to much voltage. Your cpu shouldnt be able to work at 210 degrees. Your pc shuts down when it reaches a certain cpu or gpu temp.

That's probably a T4, if you're only slightly overcloked it should handle it fine. Download Hardware Monitor and check what it says your voltages are reading.

How old is this build? How long has the problem been going on? Is the PSU new?

Most consumer class Intel cpus auto shutdown at 105c.

It sounds like he is idling at 86c, which is not normal.

He said 188f max, then reistalled it and is at 210f. 212f is 100c. I may have been wrong about the idle, but 100c is not normal.

My friend has provided me with this. It might help you. And this pic was before I got a new cooler.

Blue is cooler air and shows the airflow of how it travels, red is hot/warm air that is heated up from PC part, oranges is showing blockages, the darker the orange, the more blockage of airflow, shaded light red is showing where most of the head should be coming from (I'll explain), shaded light blue is showing cooler surfaces in the case

High of 50c looks good. I have to imagine the previous higher temps must have been from a poor mounting of the cooler or no case fans. Were you initially running with no case fans?

I was initially running it with this set up which had caused a lot of heat.

Gpu over clocked

3 fans

Cpu fan on standard speed

Cpu cooler that didn't fit quite right

Cable blockage of airflow

And cpu with turbo enabled

And pics above show system at idle. I am in southern California so it gets quite warm.
