Why couldn't you just get like an iPod Touch or some cheapo Android media player?

I don't think it has enough power. My i5 has trouble with emulators. And you don't need emulator for just WhatsApp. You can use desktop app if you have Win8 or newer. Or use built-in with Opera browser. Or just website.
