Which psu should I get?

I'm using an fx 9590 build, possibly paired with something like a rx 570 or 1050ti.  I was originally gonna get the ax860i to match with the other corsair stuff in my system (RAM, Case, SSD). I have about 200ish to spend on a psu. I looked around and found the seasonic prime titanium 750/850w psu's and the evga t2 850. Which one would be the best choice?. I'd prefer to have the most reliable.

 

And should I go down to 750w? I was thinking of the seasonic prime 750w titanium above cause it's about £170.

IIRC even an EVGA 650w G2 should be enough... currently around £83 as I bought one just recently for my backup rig.

They're all very good, the EVGA (even the one I posted) are tier 1 PSUs and rated very highly for their components and reliability.

On pcpartpicker my total wattage comes to 403w. Would it better to go with the 750 rather than the 850 one then? Bare in mind that's with 1050ti as gpu

The 650W will be more than enough for relaibility and power wise even overclocked.

So if I was to use the rx 570 instead of the 1050ti, or at least a gpu with a similar tdp, would 750w be perfect?

The 650 again would be fine.

Just wanted to say, if you don't already have that hardware, cpu wise.. you would be better going for the AM4 platform and ryzen cpu for sure.

I already got the 9590 a few months back along with a motherboard, cooler and case. Should of waited a little longer for ryzen, didn't know much about pc's at the time though. Anyways, shouldn't matter too much, since 9590 is still a decent-ish cpu.

Ahh damn, that's bad... sorry to hear that. The 9590 is OK though, just not as good as ryzen. I would seriously just get the EVGA 650W G2/3 - save your money, the EVGA PSUs g2/g3/p2 and some others come with 7 year warranty and for £83 (g2 650) is good value, that leaves you £90 extra for a better GPU if you choose, like a 1060.

Lol, even with a 9590 any 1050 Ti system won't hit more than 250W under load. A Corsair CX550M would be plenty and a half for your use case.
