$1700 for i7 7700K and Single GTX 1070? Isn't that overpriced? That whole build should be around $1500 right?

For £2100 I would want a GTX 1080 ti not a GTX 1070.

the 500B isn't a great PSU.

it's fine for internet machines, but for gaming, especially if the machine is going to be under load all the time (mining, folding @ home, BOINC, etc.) then I wouldn't trust it.

 

it's a tier 5 out of 7 on the PSU tier list linked in my sig, (1 being best), so it's not great.

 

usually most people recommend a tier 3 or higher.

UPDATE:

 

OP, this build has a 1080Ti in it, the same hardware as the prebuilt, and it's MUCH cheaper, since this includes TAX (7700K, 32GB RAM (you don't need this much BTW), 240mm AIO) and some parts are better (GTX 1080Ti > 1070, 570X RGB > 460X, PSU is higher quality, faster RAM, etc.)

Its a meh, but its DECENT for the price. I mean for $39.99 you can't exactly expect much. Beside, we aren't recommending that PSU.... its for example only

 

Ps: JohnnyGuru gave it 8.4 out of 10, that's a decent score in my book
