How does one manage to butcher both Coffee and Covfefe at the same time?

 

New socket.

Intel have confirmed nothing as of yet, but I have heard it may still be on 1151. 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

Why doesn't it count? Kaby Lake is just a refresh of Skylake, and Devil's Canyon was just a refresh of Haswell.

No one knows. Intel said last year it's 1511. Rumors started this year saying it's going to be 1151v2, meaning new socket.

So no one knows. Wait until August, so next month or maybe this month not exactly sure, but they will announce it and supposedly release it.

What do you mean it was never really made available? You can still buy the chip brand new... And for it not being faster, it just didn't overclock as high as the 4790K, it was faster clock for clock.

It sure was.  Made for a damn fine gaming CPU considering it's lower clock speeds.
