k95 platinum -- confused about Cue software

Hi,

 

So I finally got myself a k95, love it, but I am slightly confused about some stuff in Cue. 

-First, why can't I have one of my profiles set to, for example, the preset rainbow wave from the normal view and another set to an advanced view profile? 

-How do I enable the "link profile to program feature"? (it's greyed out for me)
