Do you mind ordering from China? Because you can order from Banggood.com. They ship to Australia. I ordered from them (to Canada) without any problem.

If it's a gift for friend, then I think that having an easy fit is preferable over pure sound quality. They may not like the over-ear fit that the KZ ATE have.

You could just spend $8 on a Xiaomi Piston and call it a day:

https://www.banggood.com/Original-Xiaomi-Piston-Basic-Edition-In-ear-Headset-Earphone-With-Mic-p-1044879.html?rmmds=search

They're exactly what you want with good sound, fit, a mic and cheap.

Just to add, these ChiFi IEM's are positively awesome given the price, great price/performance value. I have some higher end IEM's (Fitear Parterre, CampFire Audio Jupiter, Senn IE800) and yet I find myself reaching for my KZ ZS3/Senfer 4in1 for that some awesome audio entertainment for when I'm on the go. Another factor for preferring them is I can relax more since I won't be so antsy about leaving my IEM behind or damaging 'em.
