M.2 Placement?

I plan to use a M.2 SSD in a Xbox 360 case build, but the motherboard has the slot for the SSD on the back, putting it right against a solid piece of metal. Will doing this damage the mobo or the M.2 SSD?

There's a slight possibility it could short. Easiest way to make sure you have no problems is in that area is lay down black electrical tape on the metal sheet so even if the ssd does touch it it won't harm it.
