hello dear members of this wonderful forum, i would like to ask what psu would you recommend for a budget pc build (i3 6320 8gb ram msi gtx 1060 6gb) around 50$. i would like it to have black sleeved cables to avoid the ketchup and mustard sight through my plexi glass side panel and 80+ verification.after some research i narrowed down my choices to either the be quiet b8 550w either the corsair cx550m (grey unit).if you have any other recommendation feel free to tell me.

thank you

SeaSonic G 550W is $69, but think of it, semi-modular, linus have reviewed it, 80+ Gold!

HEC vs CWT.  But, I mean if you're going to budget I'd personally go for a Seasonic or Superflower.  The only budget one in that range seems to be these https://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=PSS12II620&c=CJ .  I just wouldn't put too much stress on any of these budget PSUs as they tend to get hot when ya do. :/

"HEC vs CWT" is among one of the least things you can say about a particular unit. It's like saying Delta vs CWT. Delta is a better OEM than CWT; however, I much rather get the Corsair CX550M over the Antec VP550Pv2. HEC is capable of producing some good quality units provided that their customers (BQ, EVGA, etc) is willing to pay / ask for it.

Anyways, in this case, the BQ Straight Power 8 is based on an old, lower quality group-regulated design, which the CX550M is superior. I would also go with that over the Seasonic S12II-B 620 unit.

Did you already buy the Core i3? If not then swap it for a Pentium G4560 and save yourself some money, maybe grab an SSD with it, or something.

An EVGA 450B3 or Corsair CX450M would work well for you.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

i already bought the cpu and i found a brand new seasonic m12ii 620w fully modular at a shop near my house for 45$.should i just go for it ?

It's a *meh* price, but if you can find the EVGA B3 or the CXM at the same price, I would go with those.
