eBay is full of fake, shit Chinese graphics cards. They usually take old, cheap cards (think Fermi, HD 5000 stuff, if not cheaper yet), swap out the cooler, hack the BIOS, put some crappy looking "NVIDA" stickers on it (surprised they got the spelling right on that one), then sell them off on eBay to people who think that that walking abortion is an NVIDIA reference design.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

no point of buying it, even if it's real when it performs same as gtx 1050 ti which costs less than $200

Nope! But I agree the 1050 Ti would be a better option for a new card compared to, whatever the alleged GTX 770 is but performance wise it would likely be best to buy a 1060 for that kind of money and if you shop around you may be able to snipe a 1060 6Gb at that price.

seen vids on teh 680 and seems like a good card

You'll need a good 500w+ PSU for it.

It'll be marginally superior  to a 1050ti... not all bad but not all great... cheers

Just buy a used GTX 770 for ~$100, it will get (marginally) better performance and won't look horrific.

If you want to compare  GPU's UserBenchmark is best place to do it.

When looking on eBay, check for a few things.

1) Is it shipping from a 3rd world country

2) Compare specs listed on the listing to the specs on Nvidia website

3) Look at the blatantly obvious falseness of that cooler. Christ that is the worst looking piece of garbage with the peen extender off of the PCB. That is so hilariously fake that it's amazing.

Edit: Oh yeah and 270 is stupid for a 770. THe GTX 770 is about an RX 560 in terms of performance in modern games. A 1050 (non-ti) is significantly faster than it. Get something like this

It consumes less power, it is smaller, and it's faster.

They didn't get the color right though. Nvidia always use green on their logo, not yellow (even if they did, it must be a very long time ago)

No 770s I'm aware has a PCB this short but mounts a long 3 fan cooler. Pricing it that high means the maker not just sucked at faking stuff, but also greedy (as if faking the card isn't greedy enough). At $270 a GTX 980 is within reach.
