I know little about dacs, is it better audio? What's a good one that's not massive expensive? How do they work?

Yep that's all you do, hook it up through USB to your PC.

Sennheiser PXC 550 is what I have. Also good that's easy

Yep, there are also portable dacs you can use if you want, works the sameway just need to charge the battery.. etc

I can Handel wires, if I need to use them wireless i think I can Handel the slightly less quality. I'm trying to decide the right dac/amp for that specific set of headphones.
