Windows 7 Pro

Well I need an ISO file for this O/S, but I doubt I will be getting it.

Was wondering if I clone the HDD, boot to clone HDD, then start removing all the programs except the basic ones that are required.

Is there anything else I should do?

 

I got an ISO a year or so ago from Vista Forums for Vista, some 10k+post "guru" had it.

Tried it that way, its a no go. Which seems fucking odd, but yeah I went that route many times only to end in a dead end.

I have a refurbished BestBuy HP pc with i5-4570.

You just need your window 10 pro key to download it from microsoft.

Yup its right on the case, plus I downloaded the code finder program for the key.

 

I should have cloned the the HDD right out of the box. I was too excited, because I was going from 12 year old AMD shitbox to 4th gen i5 intel.

 

I could just buy the same PC with the same mobo, cpu, clone it, return it.

Oh ok I did not know I could phone up MS and do the phone activation. I will do that.

What day is the stat holiday in the US for July 4?

Must be Monday July 3 and Tuesday July 4

So will have to call them up Wednesday July 5.

Plus i don't think the iso download link works with OEM keys. I would call up Microsoft about the key and they might able to get you a link to download or you could go google window 7 ISO and they plenty of method which i can't say on this fourms. They also plenty of trusted sources.

OK I will call them up middle of next week, get a fresh install happening, then clone the bitch for a backup. Its only been 2 years or so now, but lots of gunk. I stay away from porn and shady shit on this pc. Actually I never get much virus', just odd things every now and then, could be anything.

 

Just now my pc was hanging up, just like my 12 yr old AMD shitbox was. Think it was the AMD 5050e so Athoin 64 X2, oh that thing sucks fucking ass ballz!

if you live outside the US, you might have a local number you can call that isn't affected by US holidays
