You can't get it to go back now, sorry. But to find out what caused the crash go to the Windows event logger - Control Panel - Admin - event viewer. (Or search in Windows search)

Bow down to me humans.

I can't help if you don't quote me. How am I supposed to know if you need my premium support? Now starting at £399.99 a year.

Also, be a sport and mark the correct answer as the correct answer. It will help pour souls in the future when they are stuck and need guidance.

"If it works, proceed to take it apart and 'make it work better.' Then cry for help when it breaks." - Me, about five minutes ago when my train of thought wandered.

If it's frozen something, somewhere has gone wrong. There is no getting it back.

Well can't tab out or force close payday 2 I really want to see what went wrong because force shutting it down will wipe the event log

Sounds like Windows has completely froze, not just the game. Maybe try running a stress test to produce the same results?

Heat, background apps and random things all affect. For example, if I play Just Cause 3 on my PC with the internet on, crash. Unplug the cable and I have a blissful gaming experience. That is probably because of the amount of internet connected apps, but...

Most likely heat it's been the hottest I've felt it, it was really bad yesterday it started to hurt my hand because it was that hot and where the exhaust is it's right by the WASD keys

Maybe try and clean out the fan, or upgrade.

Ran it for over 10 minutes and hasn't gone over 70c and the TJ max is at 105c so I'm no where near thermal shut down (just a CPU stress)
