sell on ebay

G430 is just a G230 with an extra adapter you shouldn't use anyways. The G230/430/930 isn't the worst thing I've ever heard, but that's not really praise. The Philips SHP9500 is the same price and much better in virtually all respects.

I made do for a while by plugging my VE Monks into the microphone port and taping them to my face. Surprisingly not bad-sounding; just need to turn the sensitivity up.

I've used the G430's before, and for the price its pretty good imo. for like 40-50 you get yourself a decent mic and headset, The 7.1 surround fixes the cancerous Stereo sound. The padding is generally comfortable, but the material is itchy sometimes. 

 

I honestly wouuldn't bother tyring to get a external microphone and headphones at this price point. Its low enough to where it really does not matter much.

 

If you can I would up your budget to grab any Hyper X clouds, Extremely comfortable headsets. Would recommend
