Playing with 60 fps on 100 Hz screen.

Mr. Nipsi

Hello, I am considering buying a Asus mx34vq. It runs at 100 Hz. Which is good for when I play csgo, overwatch and so on. But when I play witcher 3 I'm not able to play at the 100 fps. So is it do able to play on the screen at 60 fps. I have a nvidia card.

Yes the screen does not need 100hz to operate. If you do want those extra frames though, just turn down the settings

Thanks

If your games or drivers support a frame cap, you may want to cap your game's FPS to 50fps to ensure even frame time.  Well, that is, any games that you don't think can hit 100fps.
