Is you're PC far from your living room (more than 10ft) if so it's a senseable option

thunderbolt card, 30 feet optical thunderbolt cable, thunderbolt dock with display output and usb? :P

Have you tried to perform a sudden temporary interrupt of the electricity flow to your computational device followed by a re-initialization procedure of the central processing unit and associated components?

I actually may do something like this. I will run a long HDMI/Displayport/Thunderbolt cable under my floor to my living room xD

HDMI's maximum rated length is 20m or about 50 feet. So frankly, if you're within range, a long HDMI cable is your simplest and easiest option.
