There are like 7 etailers in Norway selling them, all of them listing December 4th as the available date. I'm probably getting one myself.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Fellow Kiwi here, so far nothing on any of my radar's for that Mars Card. I am SO on the fence for GPu choice right now...However if you are thinking of upgrading soon....760 doesn't look TOO bad seeing as us Kiwis are FREAKING MILES off from having mainstream 4K gaming.

Things to consider for your upgrade that i am weighing up currently:

-Usage/Purpose (1080p? Mods for games? Benching?)

-VRAM

-Price

-Scalabilty

For me i just sold off my 760 to make way for an upgrade...i think the MARS 'could' provide something interesting for someone like me (ITX build owner in a non-4k nation)...however the offering of the MARS needs to be at the very most 20% cheaper or at least competitive with the 770 for me to even consider it. All things for this card aside...it will pretty much need to sell at a loss here in NZ for it to sell ultimately me thinks....

In any case...when in doubt the two battling it out for the win are the 780 and R9 290. Maybe the 290X and if you wanna STRETCH your costs...780ti.

but by the time they become relevant here in NZ we might be already looking at a 4Gb 880Ti....

Does any one have any idea of the cost

$529 in the US is the official MSRP.

I don't recommend this card, it's only marginally faster than the R9 290 & GTX 780 and with both the R9 290 and 780 you don't get any of the multi-GPU drawbacks.

For example, any game in the BETA stage doesn't support SLI, most AMD sponsored games also take a while for Nvidia to implement SLI in, Hitman Absolution lacked SLI support after release for quite a long time.

You also get less overall memory with the 760 MARS, 2GB less than the R9 290 and 1GB less than the GTX 780.
