Sorry my bad. Thought you had a K series CPU in your build. But check out the 6700K even if you don't want to oc. The 6700K has a higher stock speed and if the price differnce isn't too big, go for the 6700K.

Sorry I made a mistake. Don't get a Z series motherboard and a locked CPU. But get the 7700K even if you don't want to overclock. Getting a Z series chipset for the 7700K would be good.

@TheRandomness Why does he need X370? Does he intend to do SLI?

Because the motherboards are usually of higher quality due to the more expensive chipset and therefore may include better VRMs and more features. Also, SLI is a nice option for future consideration.

True but I was going cheap as possible :P hence why I didn't add a cooler as the stock cooler is good for mild OCs up to about 3.8GHz. SLI is meh hardly anything supports it now and when it does the performance never scales linearly.

Does anyone know whether or not I should keep this or not?

CyberPower - CP1500AVRLCD UPS

Short for uninterruptible power supply, a power supply that includes a battery to maintain power in the event of a power outage. Typically, a UPS keeps a computer running for several minutes after a power outage, enabling you to save data that is in RAM and shut down the computer gracefully.

UPS isn't required unless having your pc powered is mission critical. Even then they only give you 15-20 mins to save your stuff safely and shut down. So no not essential but up to you.

True but I was going cheap as possible :P hence why I didn't add a cooler as the stock cooler is good for mild OCs up to about 3.8GHz. SLI is meh hardly anything supports it now and when it does the performance never scales linearly.

I still managed to get $3 cheaper though :P And SLI is always an option for the future if the OP every wants it. Simply having the thing is better, plus, it does boost the resale value.
