I have a USB ps2/3 controller and i was wondering how do i make it work with my games? Like is there some kind of software or what?

use DS3 Tool it will make it so the PS3 controller emulates a 360 controller so you can play games

 

 

Does DS3tool work with PS2?

Okay, like i said, im not sure if its ps2 or 3. Its a off brand controller its not from sony.

The computer is able to find it but ds3tool cant find it at all.

click on the pink button that says "Enable"

then click on Xbox 360 controller emulator if you intend on playing PC games

that doesnt do anything.

So it's just a generic Dualshock-shaped controller that has a USB connector on the end?

 

I would maybe try Xpadder.  As long as your computer recognizes the controller, Xpadder should allow you to configure it.

 

Xpadder isn't free, but I think you can use it for a trial period or something like that.
