Help!!!! Bottleneck or not?

Hello everyone! 

 

I've just finished to build up my pc last week and in this week is happening everything. 

During the first five days was everything fine but after these i get an error like '' reboot and select proper boot device'' so i needed to reinstall windows and everything. Pratically the ssd got formatted by itself. 

*To specify: windows was installed on Adata SSD before and after the error.

 

The problem comes when i try to play games (not heavy) like League of legends , Hots , COD and Battlefield.

 

I saw that i get really low fps at high/ultra and even lowering the quality doesn't help. Always getting around 30-50 fps when i should get at least the 60s.

Also tried to overclock a bit the ram and the cpu but nothing works and seems that the MB doesn't even want to know what cpu and ram freqs are. 

 

I'm really getting upset trying to figure out the problem but i'm not an expert and the PC (all the parts) is completely new. 

 

Could it be a gpu problem? Or it may come from the SSD?

SSD only affects loading times. So no, SSD would not be the problem.

 

Get yourself MSI afterburner/RivaTuner and leave it on while you game. Then check to see if it's your CPU or GPU bottlenecking. You can act accordingly from there.

Enable per core usage for the CPU.

You should be checking more than just the CPU and GPU when searching for the problem component.

SSD doesn't effect FPS.

 

What are your full specs? It doesn't list PSU or the specific processor.

ok so i've seen a problem on an MSI B350 board that blocks the clock at it's lowest speed possible if anything bugs out on post..

 

that's 1550MHz and it won't step up or down from there. that's likely the source of your problem and why the motherboard doesn't seem to do anything to ram or CPU speed. it's a bios bug and you'll have to wait to the upcoming update that implements a few more memory fixes and other microcode stuff from AMD. hopefully coming soon
